The Environmental Justice Players is still looking for one male actor for the play Rachel Carson Speaks which has two performances, Friday & Saturday, April 17 & 18 at 7pm at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood (USR), 113 Cottage Place, Ridgewood, New Jersey, 07450.
Rachel Carson Speaks, adapted and directed by Frank Farrell, combines famed ecologist Rachel Carson’s 1963 final lecture: The Pollution of Our Environment with scenes from her life and her personal struggles to write her environmental classic, Silent Spring. With music and sound effects by Ben Masterton.
The Environmental Players is looking for a nonunion actor to play:
Roger (Rachel's Nephew) Age: 7 or 8, a Waiter, and William Shawn (Editor of The New Yorker magazine) Age: 30s- 50s
All rehearsals and performances are at USR.

There are two performances of Rachel Carson Speaks: Friday and Saturday, April 17 & 18 at 7pm. Rehearsals will be on Zoom from March 19 through April 12 and In-Person Rehearsals at USR on Tuesday, April 14 from 6pm to 9pm. Wednesday, April 15 from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday, April 16 from 6pm to 9pm.

The Environmental Justice Players is a new theatre company presenting environmentally aware plays to the public. The new play Rachel Carson Speaks will be its first production.
Frank Farrell the adaptor and director of Rachel Carson Speaks is the artistic director of the First Flight Theatre Company, which has performed productions at the Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ since 2018.
